In an effort to make oatmeal appetizing, I combined the topping from my favorite Blueberry Muffin recipe to the instructions on the box of oatmeal. My girls love it! I cut the recipe on the box in half because the whole recipe is too much for us.
- ¼ cup Quick 1 Minute Oatmeal
- ½ cup milk
- 3 TBS fresh blueberries (You could use frozen blueberries, just thaw them first.)
- 1 TBS brown sugar (I make it a heaping tablespoon)
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 2 dashes nutmeg
Simple Steps:
- Combine ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave on high 1 minute.
- Stir.
- Microwave on high 30 seconds.
- Stir
- Enjoy!
