“even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is a light to you.” Psalm 139:12
This week in Bible I am teaching my students about one of the attributes of God – He is omnipresent. I love teaching God’s Word. And I love when my students begin to share about their walk with the Lord.
We read Psalm 139:7-12. We then looked at each verse and explained them in our own words. When we got to Psalm 139:12 the conversation got real.
Do you remember being a kid and being afraid of the dark? When they read this verse the room erupted in chatter. One of the girls raised her hand, “What this verse means to me is that you don’t have to be afraid.”
My heart melted. Can you relate to her thoughts? Are you afraid? You don’t have to be. Psalm 139 is a great reminder of how great our God is!
I encourage you to pick up your Bible and read Psalm 139.
I love that Andrew gets to study Bible with you. Today in church the Pastor said something and Andrew wrote me a note that “that’s exactly what Mrs. Nichols says!” I loved it! !
Karen, That makes my heart sing! Thanks for sharing that with me.
