Get A Bellissima Buddy

BB

I have always loved Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.  Here it is in the Message:

“It’s better to have a partner than go it alone.  Share the work, share the wealth.  And if one falls down, the other helps, but if there’s no one to help, tough!  Two in a bed warm each other.  Alone, you shiver all night.  By yourself you’re unprotected.  With a friend you can face the worst.  Can you round up a third?  A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped.”

My challenge to you today is to Get A Bellissima Buddy.  Find a friend or two or three who you can join you as you Organize Your Life.  They need to be someone who will hold you accountable.  Someone who will pray for you.   And someone who knows how to make you laugh.

As you are working through the steps to Living Bellissima consider who among your friends would like to walk this journey with you.  Do you have a friend or two who would love to be in God’s Word more?  Organize their life?  Walk in freedom with Christ?

Simple Steps:

Take a moment and pray.  Ask the Lord whom He has placed in your life to be your buddy.

Call them and ask them to be your buddy.

Tell them about Living Bellissima.

Find a time to get together and set goals for yourselvesThey may be the same or they may be different.  Explore together.  This is the start of something great!

Determine how often you will check in with each other, daily or weekly.  This can be done simply with a text or quick phone call.  I think you will find that as you begin to encourage each other, you will LOVE having a Bellissima Buddy or Buddies.

Decide on ways to reward yourselves as you meet your goals.

Enjoy the journey!  Life is so much more fun when you have someone with whom to share it.

My Bellissima Buddy is my sister.  Tell me about your Bellissima Buddy in the comments below.
