It’s been two years since I last wrote a blog post. You may have wondered what happened. Well, to be honest, quite a bit.
My world looks very different today than it did two years ago. So, here are a few highlights.
I now am at home most days writing. I have a book that is nearly ready to be published. I’m so excited about this! I will definitely keep you updated about the book.
The school where I taught for 13 years, closed its doors in May. My heart was broken. I loved my school.
I experienced another loss as well. My marriage ended. That’s the big reason I stopped writing. I didn’t have it in me to write in the middle of my grief.
And finally, I’m about to become an empty nester. My youngest is now a senior in high school. How quickly the time has flown by! It seems like yesterday I was packing school lunches for both my girls and rushing to get us out the door to school. Sara now drives herself, in a car she bought herself. Be looking for a blog post about that in the near future.
Today, I’m loving my life! I’m busy writing, leading Bible studies, coaching women through freedom in Christ, and happy doing whatever good work God gives me for that day.
I’m thrilled to be blogging again. I’m currently working to finish an advent devotional that I will offer as a free download for those on my newsletter email list. I’m planning on publishing my book after the first of the year. Lots of good things in the works.
